Email and upload size limits shouldn’t cost you your privacy. The PDF is repacked in your browser with WebAssembly — its bytes never reach a server — so you get a smaller file without trusting it to anyone.
Lossless by default, lossy when you choose
By default the file is repacked structurally (object and stream compression) with no change to content or image fidelity. An opt-in “shrink images” pass re-encodes embedded images for bigger savings — clearly labelled as lossy, and off until you ask for it.

There's no upload. Everything happens on your device using WebAssembly — the bytes never travel to a server, so your documents stay yours. No ads, no third-party trackers, no accounts. We collect only an anonymous count of how often each tool is used. It's free, and it stays free.

Frequently asked questions
- Will compressing reduce quality?
- Not by default — the lossless pass leaves content and images untouched. Only the opt-in “shrink images” option trades some image quality for a smaller file.
- How small will my PDF get?
- It depends on the file. Text-heavy PDFs gain most from the lossless pass; image-heavy scans shrink more with the lossy image option. True DPI down-sampling of scans isn’t offered here.
- Are my files uploaded anywhere?
- No. Everything happens in your browser; files never leave your device.
- Is it really free?
